Description
This is a professional, administrative position responsible for organizing and ensuring continuous academic and operational assessment in order to demonstrate institutional effectiveness. The person in this position supports campus decision making, strategic planning, unit and program assessment, program review, and accreditation activities through analyses of data from a number of sources and provides reports and presentations to stakeholders. This position supervises the Institutional Effectiveness research staff to ensure that data is being managed and reported appropriately. This position is directly responsible to the Associate Dean, Libraries and Institutional Effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS:
Knowledge of department planning. Knowledge of educational program assessment including student learning outcomes assessment. Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret statistical information relating to educational programs and administrative/student support areas. Ability to evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements. Ability to analyze problems and recommend solutions. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Skill in long-term project management.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS degree is required. Experience in planning development and report preparation. Experience in data collection and analysis, using tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Excel, and others. Experience in using relational databases. MA/MS degree and experience in Higher Education Instruction is preferred.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL SKILLS:
Acceptable eyesight (with or without correction).
Acceptable hearing (with or without hearing aid).
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
Use of fingers.
