Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Dean of Graduate and Honors Studies, the McNair Research Scholars Project Director will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including programmatic and fiscal management. The Project Director will coordinate the day-to-day activities with program participants and faculty serving as advisors and research mentors. The project director is responsible for ensuring that all required activities are provided, data on participation and academic progress is collected and entered, and reporting is prepared and submitted within deadlines. This position is essential to complete the required objectives of the grant.
Qualifications:
Masters degree required; Three years experience in higher education administration, advising, management, or counseling. Strong knowledge of academic research. Experience managing or implementing federal grant funding. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and time management skills. Experience directly advising and mentoring students similar to McNair Research Scholars. Salary:
12 monthCommensurate with experience, qualifications, and universitys resources.
