    As technology and data sources continually improve at Notre Dame, you will be a champion for the transformation of our data culture, including gaining deeper insights based on statistically-sound advanced analytic methods, advancing just-in-time and democratized reporting, designing reproducible methods, and developing and promoting best practices. Along with your well-respected and high-performing team, you will collaborate with academic and administrative leaders to discover the most-impactful opportunities, challenges, and questions facing this institution, conduct analysis to find insights, and clearly communicate these findings and conclusions. To complement these quantitative insights, you will also provide rigorous qualitative feedback to campus by leading the survey and course instructor feedback teams. Finally, you will oversee external reporting and benchmarking based on comparative data.As the Executive Director of Institutional Research, you will develop and maintain excellent working relationships with senior leaders as well as leaders of campus units and our data stewards; facilitate and present analyses that advance the University's efforts to realize its vision and goals; promote campus-wide data use through holistic change management; and connect with directors of institutional research at peer institutions as an aid in benchmarking and service to the field.As a team leader, you will review and prioritize requests, support external and internal surveys & reporting, clear roadblocks, promote continuous improvement/automation, enable growth through professional development, focus on the big picture, and celebrate successes.As an individual, you will exercise a high level of independent judgment and initiative; liaise with counterparts on the ND Innovates and Strategic Planning teams; and work with the Vice President for Strategic Planning & Institutional Research to identify and pursue key initiatives.     Minimum Qualifications:
    Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with a broad array of University leaders
    Facilitation, project management, and change management experience, with a record of achieving impact and results
    Demonstrated capability to embrace change and drive strategic initiatives
    Excellent analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills
    Experience building trusted consultative and advising relationships with faculty, staff, and leadership at all levels of the University
    Highly developed ability to lead and coordinate complex research and analysis projects, utilizing appropriate statistical methodologies, predictive modeling, survey design, sampling strategies, and data visualization
    Strong oral and written communication skills
    Impeccable confidentiality
    Advanced degree
    5 years experience

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Deep interest in issues facing higher education with an understanding of constituencies Strong analytic foundation with knowledge of statistical techniques including regression, predictive modeling, sampling strategies, and data visualization Experience with survey design and administration
