    Our rapidly expanding organization is currently searching for an Associate Director, Business Development to join our team. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for securing and retaining business through outreach activities directed at decision makers at existing and new pharmaceutical and CRO clients. This Associate Director on the Business Development team  will substantially contribute to lead generation, new client outreach, client relationship development and maintenance.

    Associate Director, Business Development's Main Objective: 

    The Associate Director is responsible for proactively and expertly generating leads for new clients, studies and therapy areas while also providing supportive oversight of the clinical trial pipeline. 


    • Build out and further enhance DelRicht’s book of business by generating and cultivating new leads across the industry to grow the clinical trial pipeline across our site network
    • Identify diversification opportunities through new specialities or therapeutic areas, plan sales approach with BD leadership
    • Provide high-touch client relationship management 
    • Participate in the feasibility process
    • Maintaining general knowledge of all DelRicht Research services and sites
    • Recording and organizing all customer contacts, interactions & opportunities
    • Handling follow-up related to upcoming trial opportunities with clients and drive completion of new study start up at our clinical sites
    • Maintaining high visibility within client organization and monitoring client satisfaction by communicating regularly with client
    • Tracking trends within the market to ensure the company’s therapeutic diversity supports future growth


    Skills needed to win:


    • Required: 5 years of professional experience with at least 2 years of cold outreach experience 
    • Required: Prior experience in a sales role within the pharmaceutical, healthcare and/or clinical research industry preferred (of course!) but not required
    • Required: Clear verbal and written skills 
    • Required: Strong ability and desire to grow new leads 
    • Required: Tech savvy - we are a Mac and GoogleDrive company
