Directs and oversees the clinical research function for a healthcare organization. Collaborates with site research clinical and physician /administrative leaders to provide a quality research program. Oversight and development of research quality and compliance group and operations to ensure the development and implementation of actions plans designed to improve practice-based research operations and quality assurance functions. Oversees and ensures that research site and location follow the Code of Federal Regulations, International Conference of Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Registration of Pharmaceutical for Human Use (ICH) and Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute’s standard operating procedures. Responsible for recruitment and retention of practice-based research staff and clinical trials. Works with team to develop customized training plans. This position must have the ability to provide strategic and technical guidance to ensure clinical trials are properly defined, planned and executed. Supports revenue and recovery growth targets. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Life Science, Clinical Discipline. or business discipline required, master’s degree preferred with a minimum of five years’ experience in clinical research, experience in oncology with chemotherapy administration a plus, regulatory and research data management experience required. Minimum of five years of supervisory experience is preferred.
