POSITION DESCRIPTION
The BCPS Instructional Technology Support Team will work collaboratively with district leaders in the development of creating a Digital Learning Guide that aligns with current resources, philosophy, goals, and objectives of Battle Creek Public Schools Integrative Technology. This team will create a guide that provides technical support identifying, investigating, and resolving user challenges with instructional software. As well as, highlight strategies for teaching and supporting teachers in the effective implementation of best practices related to digital learning instruction and instructional technology innovation.
Sections in this Digital Learning Guide will include: guiding strategies, resources and support, troubleshooting and reflection questions to help guide your thinking and planning in a way that will be specific to your unique situation and the unique needs of your students. Ultimately with the end goal of creating a resource that supports and optimizes intentional software and network resources to support quality teaching and learning.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Members of the BCPS Instructional Technology Development team are expected to:
- Identify resource/materials to assist with the creation of the digital learning guide
Outline a framework for the digital learning guide
Collaborate in the creation of content and design of the digital learning guide
Lead the facilitation of the roll out of digital learning guide
Support Professional Learning and implementation for staff
Meet quarterly throughout the 22-23 school year to reflect on the process and adjust where needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate.
Experience teaching
Positive, team-oriented individual.
Current employee of Battle Creek Public Schools
