Qualifications
Education/Certification/Licensure
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferred
Valid Texas Teaching Certification Special Knowledge/Skills Strongly self-directed
Effective organizational, communication, presentation, public relations, and interpersonal skills Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of curriculum, instruction, staff development, and technologies used in instructional settings
Extensive experience integrating technology into the curriculum
Ability to design and deliver technology enhanced instruction and professional learning.
Successful experience in creating and conducting professional learning for adults Ability to use a variety of hardware, software, and technology resources
Ability to coordinate campus and district functions Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data Demonstration of instructional leadership Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ successful academic classroom experience Minimum of 3 years’ working with instructional software Experience with integrating technology across the curriculum
Supervisory experience or coordination of district level programming, preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide instructional leadership and vision for instructional programs ensuring that digital learning is engaging, interactive, and aligned with the learning standards.
- Provide leadership, guidance, strategic planning, and specialized knowledge in instructional programs utilizing digital resources.
- Coordinate, develop, and implement digital learning experiences, in collaboration with instruction, within the curriculum.
- Provide leadership and monitoring in the planning and implementation of technology integration as delivered digitally, or in the classroom, and through all district curriculum.
- Develop and provide face-to-face and online professional learning for staff to grow content knowledge and pedagogy through the effective integration of digital learning tools in instruction.
- Provide direction and professional learning for the integration of technology into online, hybrid and classroom-based courses.
- Analyze technology integration within the curriculum and professional learning needs, develop training procedures and guidelines, and design and create technology training and skills assessment resources and materials.
- Support the acquisition and utilization of digital instructional and administrative applications and resources.
- Design, implement, and assess professional learning experiences that foster the adoption of technology and enhance digital and information literacy throughout curriculum.
- Support the development of campus staff through professional learning with digital content, responsive instructional practices, and assessment development.
- Collaborate with district and campus instructional staff for the purpose of feedback, input, and recommendation about online instructional programs.
- Review and research current technology standards and integrate innovative technologies, differentiated learning strategies and methodologies into digital content delivery that is based on research and best practices, supports the district curriculum, and incorporates the vision and mission of Clear Creek ISD.
- Exhibits a thorough understanding and skilled proficiency in the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for Technology Applications.
- Support the on-line professional learning registration, records, and management process for all district professional learning.
- Support Original Credit, Credit Recovery, and Remediation programs including Clear Access/Clear Stars.
- Research new and emerging educational technologies and best practices related to instructional technology and communicate findings.
- Collect data and prepare responses to requests for information related to assigned
- Manage and utilize data effectively for systemic process and program
- Implement data-informed decision making for improvement efforts based on best
- Assume responsibility for the coordination and implementation of special projects to support and meet program goals (e.g. extracurricular student activities. grants, and presentations).
