Job Summary:

Job Summary: 
The Security Technology Specialist reports to the Chief of Security and provides efficient and flexible program, IT, and administrative support services with a strong customer service focus solely for the OSU-CHS campus security department. Responsibilities include managing the security badge ID software system and access permissions; maintaining security cameras and body cameras across OSU-CHS facilities; serving as the liaison between Campus Security and the OSU-CHS IT Department for any collaborative technical operations; handling administrative tasks like scheduling, records, purchasing, and mandatory compliance reporting for the Chief and Deputy Chief of Security; keeping track of CLEET certifications for officers; and taking on additional compliance and recordkeeping duties as the department expands its scope and certifications. The role will be empowered to streamline and digitize paper-based workflows. The overall focus is ensuring security technology is properly maintained, updated, and collaboratively supported across departments.

Position Qualifications:

Requirements: 
-High School Diploma or GED
-Valid Driver's License
-At least two years computer support experience or related experience
-TRAVEL is limited to CHS Campus, CHS clinical locations, and training sessions.  Between 10 and 30% of time spent on this job is devoted to travel.
 
Skills, Profiencies, and Knowledge: 
-Basic Knowledge of Information Technology 
-Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of:
 *Microsoft Windows 10 and 7
 *Microsoft Office Suite 2013
 *Microsoft Active Directory
 *Mac OS, IOS and android devices
 *Desktop computer hardware
 *Network printer operations
 *Basic IT functions
