The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Accounting seeks applicants for temporary Adjunct Instructors to teach the following courses for the spring semester, starting in January 2024, in a new satellite location on the DMACC urban campus. These courses will primarily be in-person and in Des Moines, Iowa. Successful candidates must have demonstrated experience and expertise in the relevant field. Courses include:
Master's of Accountancy, MBA, related master's degree in the area of specialization or professional credentials with significant work experience that warrants approval from accrediting bodies.
Required qualifications include evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preference will be given to candidates with a CPA or other professional accounting credential; and a record of excellence in teaching with evidence of a student-focused approach.
