Additional information about the company can be found online at www.bwpipelines.com. We are currently looking for an Accounting Supervisor II for our Owensboro, KY office. POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position will be responsible for: ensuring the timely and correct processing of invoices and payment requests submitted by suppliers to all Boardwalk entities; ensuring AP team members comply with SOX controls for the payables processes; communicating with internal and external parties regarding AP issues; conducting AP's monthly closing process and reconciling the payables account; managing the maintenance and enhancements of the payables module in Oracle EBS; assisting with the evaluation of AP workload and allocating sufficient resources to ensure AP’s responsibilities are met; coordinating the development/training of the AP staff; and working with each individual direct report to develop personal objectives and assess performance at regular intervals. REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE: Excellent computer skills including MS Office Competency in GAAP Ability to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines Ability to maintain the strictest level of confidentiality Ability to interface with all levels within and outside of the Boardwalk organization At least 5 years' experience in an accounting position PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE: Experience with Oracle Enterprise Business Suite or another integrated financial system Previous supervisory experience Experience working with FERC accounting guidance in a regulated utility Audit or analytical background REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree in Accounting PREFERRED EDUCATION: CPA, CMA, or MBA ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Boardwalk Pipelines, LP maintains a drug-free workplace and will require pre-employment drug & substance abuse testing before hire.
