We are seeking a customer service oriented team player to join our Accounting Department as an Accounting Assistant.

Essential Duties:

• Assess credit risk and viability of potential and existing customers and establishes credit limits
• Consistently monitor accounts for on-time payment and compliance with credit limits
• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers
• Accurately post and allocate checks, cash and ACH payments
• Resolve unpaid balances
• Reconcile receipts to general ledger
• Administrative Assistant

• 1 year accounting experience or equivalent experience preferred
• Knowledge of general accounting practices with knowledge of accounts receivable practices helpful
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels within an organization
