Instructor, Accounting
The College of Idaho invites applications for a fulltime Instructor in Accounting to start in the Fall 2024. We
seek candidates who share the College’s commitment to creating an equitable and inclusive academic
community through their teaching and mentoring.
The College currently offers undergraduate majors in business administration, digital marketing, and
accounting, including a 150-hour accounting major that prepares students for the CPA exam. The ideal
candidate would contribute to the Business and Accounting Department’s courses across various areas of
accounting, including financial accounting, managerial accounting, and possibly other business or accounting
areas.
The fulltime teaching load is distributed between Fall and Spring semesters and a 1-month January term
with a 3-1-3 schedule. For information about the Business and Accounting Department’s offerings and

intersection of theory and practice as it prepares graduates for productive careers and fulfilling lives.
Qualifications:
A CPA and a postgraduate degree in accounting or a closely related field is required. College-level teaching
experience is preferred.
