    Job Description: As an Accounting Manager at Panther Heating & Cooling, Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting department, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, implementing efficient accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position reports directly to the Director of Production.

    Responsibilities:
    1. Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
    2. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
    3. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
    4. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
    5. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
    6. Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.
    7. Lead and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
    8. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
    9. Participate in strategic planning and provide financial analysis to support business objectives.
    10. Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry trends and ensure compliance within the organization.

    Qualifications:
    1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
    2. Proven experience (5 years plus) in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years of managerial experience.
    3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
    4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    8. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
    9. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    10. Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
