Instructor - Biology teaches courses in the discipline area of biology. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Biology provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Biology typically reports to a department head. Summit Christian Academy is accepting applications for a high school Biology teacher.
Bachelor's degree in Biology or a directly related field is required. Preference will be given to those candidates with a master's degree in Biology or a master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the Biology discipline.
Prior teaching experience is a plus.
