Biology Paraprofessional

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing curriculum and lesson plans
- Support students with individualized learning needs
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students
- Assist in classroom management and behavior support
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and adapt curriculum materials
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Provide support during transitions and daily routines
- Assist with maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment

Qualifications: -Bachelor's Degree (preferable)
- Experience working with students, preferably in a classroom or childcare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with students with diverse needs
- Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics and behavior

Type: Full-Time

Pay: $15-$18 an hour
