Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Biology typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Summary of Job Duties:Will be responsible for teaching 12 hours per week of lectures and lab. Courses to be taught include Intro to Biological Science, General Zoology and Lab, Herpetology and lab, Ichthyology and lab, and Marine or Aquatic Biology and lab. Ten hours per week of office hours is also required.Qualifications:
Department's Website:Ph.D in Biology or related discipline with an emphasis in Ichthyology. Ability to teach Zoology and lab is required. Ability to also teach Herpetology will get priority.
