Under direction of the Assistant Academic Dean for Cooperative Programs, this position will play a crucial role in inspiring and educationg future nursing processionals. This is a 12-month, full-time, benefit-eligible position located in Rapid City, South Dakota.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Faculty members plan, implement, and evaluate assigned courses either as an individual assignment or as a member of a teaching team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing upon application, and a Master’s degree in Nursing completed by start date;
- Licensed by the South Dakota Board of Nursing, or eligible for licensure as evidenced by current licensure in another state;
- Two years of relevant clinical practice experience;
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences as evidenced in application materials;
- Evidence of effective written communication skills;
- Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license, or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire, and willingness to travel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctoral preparation in Nursing or related discipline;
- Degree education from more than one degree-granting institution;
- Formal teaching experience in nursing;
- Evidence of professional service.
