Instructor - Biology teaches courses in the discipline area of biology. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Biology provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Biology typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. The Summer I semester runs May 20, 2024 through June 24, 2024. Openings are anticipated for the following courses:
Biology I (majors) lab: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:30am-11:10am
Nutrition, Fitness, and Wellness: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 6:30pm-9:10pm
The Summer III semester runs July 1, 2024 through August 6, 2024. Openings are anticipated for the following courses:
Anatomy & Physiology I lab: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 12:30pm-3:10pm
Anatomy & Physiology II lab: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:30pm-11:10am
Biology II (majors) lab: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:30am-11:10am
Botany lab: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:30am-11:10am
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in appropriate discipline required. Prior college/university teaching experience preferred.
