Requirements
Applicants are expected to have an M.D., Ph.D., or both. We are particularly interested in individuals with research experience in cardiovascular genetics, metabolism, inflammation, or heart failure, though outstanding investigators in any area of cardiovascular research will be considered. Candidates should also have an established history of scholarly achievement and demonstrable success in grant writing.
We expect our faculty to be fully engaged in all activities and duties associated with the position, including conducting research, teaching, and mentoring students and fellows. Responsibilities include securing competitive extramural funding, conducting research and publishing research findings, and supervising and supporting postdocs and graduate students.
