Instructor - Business Administration teaches courses in the discipline area of business administration and management. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Business Administration provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Business Administration typically reports to a department head. Basic Function: The instructor is responsible for the effective instruction of Entrepreneurship/Business courses; facilitating student learning and success; and the on-going development of curriculum and learning strategies to meet the needs of students and employers. The instructor will collaborate with other faculty and staff members to provide a quality education for a diverse student population and will perform instructional duties and responsibilities in accordance with the philosophy, mission, policies, and procedures of the College.

Required: Candidates must have an MBA or Master's in Business.
Preferred: in addition to degree, at least 6,000 hours of experience running a business or start-up company; coursework in entrepreneurship or business innovation; completion of Venture School or similar business start-up course (or willingness to obtain.)
