Job Summary
The Business and Technology Division has an anticipated opening for a Business Administration Systems (BAS) Instructor.
Job Duties:
This position will be responsible for full-time instruction in business and management courses, both online and in the classroom, maintaining office hours for mentoring and coaching students, success and retention activities, and utilization of Blackboard for communication and feedback. This position has the opportunity to serve as the BAS program coordinator, with responsibilities to manage faculty, hire adjunct instructors, schedule classes, order textbooks, and develop and maintain a budget. This position may teach on multiple JCTC campuses.
Other duties include but are not limited to:
• Academic advising
• Course and curriculum development
• Internal and external community service
• Educational leadership and professional development
Salary based on qualifications and experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a Master’s degree in related field with 18 graduate hours in Business Administration. Teaching experience at the college level and online teaching experience preferred. Relevant professional experience is preferred. Eighteen graduate hours in economics is preferred.
