    The University of Northwestern Ohio in Lima, Ohio, is a private, not-for-profit, teaching university with a diverse population of approximately 3,000 students. We are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, along with other specialized accreditors. We offer AAS, AAB, BS, and MBA degrees in unique programs for specialized careers.

    Residents of Lima have access to many retail stores, restaurants, and other businesses within a city of approximately 40,000 residents. Lima is within driving distance of metropolitan cities such as Columbus, Chicago, Cleveland, Dayton, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, and Toledo.

    The individual will have primary instructional responsibilities teaching various courses in Business Administration at the associate and baccalaureate degree levels at our campus in Lima, Ohio. Courses include Principles of Management, Macroeconomics, Strategic Planning, and Corporate Finance.

    Courses taught on campus meet for 1.5-hour sessions throughout the day, as well as virtual courses. UNOH courses run on a quarterly basis throughout the entire year. Classes meet either Monday, Wednesday, and Friday or Tuesday and Thursday.

    Full-time instructors teach 15 credit hours per quarter. Faculty are also required to participate in committees and faculty meetings. In addition to teaching excellence, faculty members are evaluated based on service to the community, service to the university, and professional/ scholarly activity.

  • Requirements

  • Masters in a business-related field

  • MBA

  • Previous teaching experience preferred.
    Doctoral candidates will be considered.
