We have two sawmills, one in Waipapa near Kerikeri in the gorgeous Bay of Islands, and another in Whangarei. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Administration wiz who can hit the ground running and join our team at our Waipapa site.
    About the position:
    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the role of Business Administration Support. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with excellent administration skills to join our team. While we prefer you to work normal business hours, we are flexible around these. The successful candidate will provide crucial support to various administrative functions, contributing to the efficient operation of our business processes.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform administrative tasks across multiple departments, including finance, human resources, health & safety and operations.
    • Maintain accurate and organized records, both electronic and physical, ensuring easy access to information when needed.
    • Assist in preparing and distributing documents, reports, and presentations as required by team members.
    • Support with scheduling meetings, appointments, and other logistical arrangements.
    • Assist our operations team with data entry and invoice processing.
    • Liaise with landlords and employees regarding tenanted properties
    • Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve overall efficiency.
    • Assist in general office management duties, including inventory management and office supply procurement.


    Requirements:
    • Previous experience in an administrative support role is essential;
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other basic computer skills.
    • Ideally exposure to Timbersmart, but this is not essential
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
    • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
    • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
