Location: Battle Creek, MI, 49037
Duration: 12 Months Contract to Direct Hire
Shift: Might be Day or Night should be flexible
Must be able to work 24/7 rotating shifts.
Batch processing experience is preferred; however, it is not a qualifying indicator ahead of a solid work history with some form of manufacturing or related environment.
Dry chemical processing in batch (no liquids).
The candidate's assignment will include but is not limited to safe operation of dry powder batch processes and material handling equipment.
Qualifications:
2 years of solid work experience, food or pharmaceutical processing is helpful, basic computer skills, must work well in a team environment and independently, demonstrate good work habits (attendance, safety, housekeeping, etc.), good verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work 24/7 rotating shifts, able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally, able to wear a Pressurized Air Purifying Respirator and able to safely ascend and descend multiple flights of stairs during the shift.
Candidate will be walking up/down 4 flights of stairs.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must have attention to detail – will be monitoring equipment.
Candidate must have a solid work history; no job hopping. The rest can be trained.
