Technical management including working with project managers to develop design scope of work for proposals, providing technical leadership during project design, and attending meetings during all phases of the project • Completes assignments within budget and schedule while leading design teams involving multiple disciplines to meet profitability goals in support of the business and strategic plan • Leads and manages civil engineering staff in the preparation of construction documents including specifications, cost estimates, and reports. • Provides oversight on production and technical quality to ensure the Quality Program is implemented • Management of civil department employees also includes hiring, development, and coaching for improvement while facilitating a collaborative work environment and advancing initiatives that support a positive workplace culture • Performs other duties as required
Education & Experience Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university • Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred • Minimum of 10 years' experience of civil site/land development/project management • Outstanding organizational and project management skills • Strong skills in site grading, stormwater, erosion control, and utilities • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills • Strong team building and collaboration skills
