Being an Instructor - Communication provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Communication typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. THE POSITION
This position focuses on the Naples Airport Authority (NAA) noise abatement initiatives and functions as a member of the communications/community relations team. The role involves communicating with the public regarding aircraft noise concerns; promoting noise abatement procedures among all airport users; and working with an established committee to enhance the airport noise program. Additionally, this position is an essential part of the development of the communications team to reach the department’s strategic goals.
