Job Summary :
The Marketing Communication Specialist will help lead the Marketing Agency Services at OSV for our customers, both internal and external.
These services will fulfill customer needs, including, but not limited to marketing services for Catholic and Christian schools, marketing strategy for our customers, development of marketing and communications strategy as well working with customers to solve their marketing and communications needs.
In addition, the Marketing Communication Specialist will work directly with the sales team and customers as they solve for their reporting and communication needs.
Essential Job Functions (* Non-essential tasks) : Develop strategy for marketing communication for customers, with emphasis on integrated solutions.
Act as the agency account manager as needed for projects that require customer meetings from discovery to project kick-off to creative revisionsCreate social media strategy, elements and guidance for customers, initially as a part of existing OSV products and services, potentially as a stand alone serviceCreate written content, design emails, circulate for approval and schedule for timely delivery in coordination with the marketing teamSupport content marketing efforts for the companyConduct phone or live interviews with customers to obtain success stories about OSV products.
Track and maintain archives of all testimonials and stories.Write content questions and conduct video interviews with customersFollow up with internal / external customers on information required for your deadlinesHelp with the creative development and idea generation for direct mail / communication materialsManage short-term and long-term projects, creating deadline schedule and tracking milestonesWork with Design, Sales, Stewardship Services and Customer Service on public relations materials as neededParticipate on teams with Sales, Customer Service, Stewardship Services and other teams to develop communications pieces and full use of electronic and print communications channels.
Experience :
Three to five years related marketing communications experience required with demonstrated success in marketing strategy developmentBachelor’s Degree in Marketing Communications or Journalism, related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
Success with managing multiple deadlines in fast-paced department.Experience with or aptitude to learn how to operate video equipment and editing software.
Knowledge of photography for occasional photo shoots preferred.Ability to conduct written and video interviews with customers.
InDesign knowledge a plus.Previous proven computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.Education :
