The Division of Communication, Composition and Rhetoric at Methodist University is looking for adjunct faculty for the 2023-2024 academic year. Specifically, we are looking for creative and experienced professionals, who want to share their knowledge and expertise with the next generation of media makers.

We offer a variety of courses in the various forms of media, including: Advertising, Public relations, Journalism, Graphic Design, Media production, Photography and Digital Media.

As an adjunct instructor, you can teach up to three courses per semester and will be responsible for developing and delivering course content, grading assignments, and providing feedback to students.

Qualifications

Education:

Preferably with a Master’s degree, but we will also consider experienced professionals (5 years or more) in the field with Bachelor’s Degrees.

Experience:

· Audio Production (preferably with an emphasis in new developments in radio and Podcasting)

· Audiovisual Production
