Specialist, Brand Communications
As Specialist, Brand Communications , ERA Real Estate and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate you will support the Managers of PR and Internal Communications for ERA and BHGRE to produce a mix of internal and external communications for both brands.
You will be responsible for helping to build each brand’s share of voice and value proposition to key audiences through thought leadership, broker and agent insights and expansion efforts into growth markets.
We are looking for someone passionate about communications, with a keen eye for detail, who can work in a fast-paced environment.
With exceptional attention to detail, superior customer service skills, and the ability to develop compelling content for multiple channels and formats, this position will offer you a unique and challenging opportunity to grow our brand voice across the real estate industry.
This position is a full-time, 100% remote role. The ideal candidate will be located in the Eastern Time Zone or willing to work EST hours.
Key Responsibilities :
Support the execution of communications strategies for two of the real estate industry’s most recognizable brokerage brands, including internal and external communications.
Maintain the PR and internal communications editorial calendar for all channels, including newsletters, email announcements, press releases, websites and special projects as needed.
Serve as a writer and publisher of polished content that drives value to employees, broker-owners, and agents in our network.
Support the internal communications and PR reporting process, including media monitoring service and external partner reports.
Support each brand’s public relations efforts when needed.
Support communications projects and campaigns.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree preferred : Marketing, Journalism / Communications, or English degree or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years’ experience in internal communications and / or PR, either on the agency or client side.
Experience in writing, editing and producing content including weekly newsletters, email announcements, executive level communication or event communications (writing samples to be collected)
Stellar writing, editing and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Proven experience in project management and working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to optimize brand resources into a comprehensive strategy
Superior skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Strong attention to detail
Pronounced initiative and ability to problem solve
Vendor management experience preferred
Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time, if needed
