ACET is seeking UH1/AH1 Maintenance Controllers in our Jacksonville, NC location.
Position Responsibilities:

Reports to the Maintenance Material Control Chief

Acts as the coordinator for the contracted maintenance effort in support of aircraft maintenance operations.

Provides daily oversight of all functional and operational activities of aircraft and assists the Site Manager and MMCC with daily operations to meet contract requirements.

Serve as a SFF Maintenance Controller on UH1/AH1 aircraft during the contract duration.

Screens and maintains aircraft forms and records using the Optimized Naval Aviation Logistic Management Information System (OOMA).

Briefs pilots prior to flight and receives post flight debriefs from crews.

Ensure that all documentation is properly prepared, that all maintenance is complete, that tools are accounted for and then, release aircraft safe for flight.

Assist in technical directive coordination.

Serves as the local primary interface and point of contact for the contracted mechanics and technicians.

Directs contractor personnel maintenance operations by planning and directing execution of the maintenance plan and monitoring and reporting progress.

Provides daily oversight of all functional and operational activities of aircraft maintenance to meet flight schedule requirements.

Follows the DCMAINST 8210.1_series, CNAFINST 4790.2 series and local policies as required to plan and coordinate the maintenance effort effectively and safely.

Ensures full and effective employment of assigned personnel in execution of the maintenance plan.

Provides higher management with data necessary to make qualitative decisions about aircraft, equipment, support equipment, material condition, readiness, utilization, maintenance workload, and projected upcoming events.
Position Requirements:

A minimum of twelve (8) years’ experience in the aviation maintenance field.

Must have been a Maintenance Controller for minimum of two (2) years with previous documented “Safe for Flight” authority on UH/AH aircraft.

Must be skill qualified in a primary MOS from any of the following OccFlds: 61XX/63XX or equivalent other service designation.

Must have completed the Naval Aviation Maintenance Control Management for Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activities (OOMA) course (C-555-0053) or both the Naval Aviation Maintenance Control Management course (D or E-555-0040) and the Naval Aviation Officer and Senior Supervisor NALCOMIS OOMA Familiarization course (D or E-555-0054).

Must be able to meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the position.

Must show proficiency in the use of OOMA after assignment.

Must be able to obtain certification as SFF on the UH1/AH1 with-in 60 days.

Knowledgeable of basic supply procedures.

Strong mechanical aptitude to offer technical direction in all maintenance areas.

This position requires extensive knowledge of the CNAFINST 4790.2_series.

Must be capable to competently assist with MMP creation.

Must be able to pass drug test and fit for work physical as required.

Must be able to lift and maneuver 50 lbs.
-
Must be able to work in areas that require awkward posturing, bending, kneeling, squatting, to include working overhead.

Travel may be required.

Must be knowledgeable in ASM.

U.S Citizen and must pass a background check and be able to obtain and maintain a common access card and installation access.
