As a Retail Supervisor and Dining Services Communication Coordinator, you will carry out our Mission of Love by ensuring the care of our residents is provided in a safe, caring, timely, and appropriate manner by maintaining the appropriate competencies and skills through continuing education that encompasses all these areas. This will include assisting our residents in reaching or attaining the highest potential in their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. You will provide high level hospitality services to our residents and guests. Administrate, plan, supervise and coordinate the campus gift shops. Maintain Food Services' systems such as resident comment data base, CardWatch POS, Resident billing system (MVP cards). Maintain Dining Services communication to residents through electronic and paper communication.

Our Retail Supervisor and Dining Services Communication Coordinator is responsible for the following:

• Demonstrating knowledge of Federal, State and local regulations that pertain to food and nutritional care in a long-term care setting, and the Pennsylvania Liquor Law pertaining to serving alcoholic beverage.
• Demonstrating knowledge of local, state and federal sanitation regulation and HACCP guidelines and the ability to implement effective food safety programs, includes both sanitation and HACCP, in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Proficiency in managing proper inventory and ordering of alcoholic beverages & non-food supplies used in the Gift Shop/Convenience Stores.
• Responsible for supervision and coordination with Volunteer Services Supervisor of all Masonic Villages Elizabethtown gift shops, including Village Shop, Clubhouse Market, and Gift Shop at Health Care Center. Responsible for ordering, receiving, financial performance, and overall day to day operations.
• Establishing and maintaining effective communication and working relationships with residents, with other areas of the Food Services Department, and with other departments to provide high quality, unified, and cost-effective dining service programs.
• Attending production and service, dining services, supervisor, and other necessary meetings.
• Maintaining Food Services Systems; resident comment data base and CardWatch, Monitor and analyzing sales of menu items, generating report to recommend customers' menu preferences, monitoring activities of resident charges, and coordinating necessary corrections with the dining services supervisor, IT, and Finance department.
• Responsible for all communication of Food Services to RL Residents. This would include K4 Village Connect, email, print, and posted communication.
• Responsible for coordinating printed menu development and distribution for all Retirement Living Food Service areas.

You will have:

• A minimum of an associate degree in hospitality or hotel management preferred.
• One to two years of experience in hospitality industry supervision required.
• Excellent communication and people skills. Good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Knowledge of alcoholic beverage serving and the Pennsylvania Liquor Law.
• Experience in menu formatting, food and beverage financial systems and controls, food presentation, and serving.
• Strong attention to detail, proven organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
