Instructor - Computer Science teaches courses in the discipline area of computer and information sciences. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Computer Science provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Computer Science typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Position: Agriculture Science Instructor: Grades 7 - 12
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement is preferred
- CDL or willing to obtain
Contract - 11-month or 12-month (negotiable) with additional stipends dependent on experience.District pays $351/month towards health insurance
Responsibilities- Strong classroom and lab management skills
- Train successful LDE and CDE teams
- Teach courses that align with the campus selected programs of study and support students in completing a program of study
- Serve as the FFA advisor
- Possess strong organizational and communication skills
- Be a team player willing to work with other school groups and organizations
- Assist students with record book, application awards, and scholarships
- Support students with show projects through the county show
- Manage and oversee the school ag farm
- Possess exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with family-school-community partnerships
- Successfully work with the local ag booster club
