We are seeking a fun loving, skilled, and motivated Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our small but mighty team. As a Pediatric Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentist to provide quality dental care to our patients. Your role will involve assisting with various dental procedures, ensuring infection control protocols are followed, and providing excellent patient care. Experience working with children is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Giving every child patience, kindness, understanding, and 5 star care.
- Prepare operatories by sterilizing instruments and setting up equipment.
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Taking dental x-rays as instructed by the dentist
- Provide information to patients and parents regarding oral hygiene and care
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories as necessary
- Positive attitudes are required! :)
Skills (preferred, but willing to train)
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures
- Thorough understanding of infection control systems and protocols
- Competence in taking dental x-rays
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
