• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDA license (preferred but not required)

Job Description:

Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists. Position works directly with and under the supervision of the Dentists in providing general and surgical dental services.

Primary duties:

• Knowledge of dental terminology, dental materials and instruments; efficient in room set-up for restorative, oral/implant surgery, and endodontic procedures.
• Preparing patients for dental health services and instructing them in appropriate post dental treatment, diet, and oral hygiene.
• Promptly following all instructions from the Dentist dealing with patient comfort.
• Taking inventory and stocking all supplies.
• Knowledge and proficiency of digital x-rays.
• Proficiency with using fourhanded assisting technique.
• Maintaining dental equipment and operatories in good, clean condition at all times.
• Maintain the instruments and working areas in strict accordance with sterilization/disinfection protocols per OSHA guidelines.
• Cross-training in other dental support positions as necessary, i.e., reception, dental lab technician, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by the Dentist or manager.
• Maintain personal protection per OSHA guidelines as it pertains to personal safety, i.e., scrubs, eyewear, gloves.
• To participate in training and staff meetings

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
