Instructor - Dentistry teaches courses in the discipline area of dentistry. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Dentistry provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Dentistry typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. - Call patients to schedule new, follow up, or check up appointments.
- Check in and check out patients for appointments.
- Bill insurance companies, verify patients benefits, etc.
- Willing to be trained in some Dental Assistant (DA) duties and assist the DA as required (or already has these skills). This is a requirement for the job
- Any additional administrative/office duties required (scanning documents, etc).
- Requires attention to details, error free data entry, strong customer service personality, a positive can-do mentality, and the ability to learn quickly.
