Description:
Plans and supervises drama/theatre lessons in a visual or performing arts camp for children, ages 6 to 11 in a day camp setting. Camps include instruction in two and three dimensional visual art, drama, dance and music, radio, video and creative writing.
Job Summary:
Reports to Arts Camp Site Director
Collaborate with other Arts Camp Staff
Attend to the health, safety and discipline of campers at all times, adhering to all Health Department protocols
Manage supplies and maintain an organized and safe classroom
Conduct well organized, age-appropriate classes and execute final sharing
Maintain positive customer relations with campers and their parents
Perform administrative tasks that support the efficient running of the program
Qualifications:
Experience teaching theatre to children
Availability:
Camp season runs June 3 through August 5, 2022. You must be available Monday through Thursday to work.
Weekly hours: Monday through Thursday, 10 to 3pm
Rate:
Starting at 18/ hour
Schedule:
This is a full-time, seasonal summer position. Schedule includes nine consecutive weeks during the summer.
