Instructor - Drama teaches courses in the discipline area of drama. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Drama provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Drama typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research.   • Drama Maniacs is looking for a part-time, afterschool Instructor for a school in the Glendale area for our Spring 2024 Session. Monday classes only (2:00-3:30pm). Classes starting ASAP (running for 4-6 weeks)!

    The Drama Maniacs afterschool program is fast-paced, creative, and INSANELY FUN! The main focus of Drama Maniacs is student-created productions (General Drama Enrichment & Performance Programs).

    We are looking for EXCITING, energetic, enthusiastic, and professional individuals who are passionate about teaching drama and improv to kids. Previous experience teaching and managing groups of children (15-20 students per class) ages 5-12 required. Experience teaching and directing acting/improv/musical theatre a plus. (Additional paid training provided & materials, lessons/curriculum provided.)

    $36/hr for 1.5 hr class (i.e. 1hr of class 20 mins of supervision before class - paid at 1.5 hours)
