The Department of Economics invites applications for Part-Time Instructors for the fall 2024 semester. Part-Time Instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester basis to teach economic courses. The successful candidate is expected to teach introductory and advanced level courses by the Department of Economics. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teach face-to-face and/or online courses, attend training and/or review sessions. Additional duties will include, but are not limited to, academic advising of students, supporting student organizations, participating in program development and assessment. The candidate will be expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university. |

Primary Function of Organizational Unit | The Department of Economics supports over 125 undergraduate majors and teaches introductory level core courses in economics and statistics in the Deese College of Business and Economics, as well as upper-level courses supporting the economics major. The department also teaches courses in the university's general education program (Principles of Microeconomics and Principles of Macroeconomics). The Department of Economics offers three campus-based undergraduate degree programs: Economics, Economics (Business Concentration), and Economics (Law Concentration).
