POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide direction and leadership while overseeing age appropriate physical education that foster individual growth and development of children.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

Provide Physical Education instruction to elementary and middle school children. Provide a positive experience to children in a safe, caring, academic environment. Supervise participants, primarily school-age children, in recreational activities. Employment dates are June 10 – August 2, 2024

REQUIREMENTS :

• High school diploma or equivalent. Certified teachers or Experience in Fitness a plus
• Must be 18 years or older Must pass background screening on a local, state and federal level as required by the State of Florida Children and Family Services.
• Must provide a current copy of CPR/First Aid/AED certification prior to employment.

Skills/Background Expected:

• Experience in a summer camp environment
• Highly skilled in instruction
• Ability to plan and implement a range of activities in a variety of outdoor/indoor settings.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
