SUMMARY:
The Training Instructor will be responsible to the Manager, Training and Development. He/she will help plan, conduct, and administer programs that train employees and improve their skills and knowledge. He/she will organize or deliver training sessions using lectures, group discussions, team exercises, hands-on examples, and other formats. He/she may monitor training, guide employees through media-based programs, or facilitate informal or collaborative learning programs.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Act as the administrator for Learning Management Systems (LMS)
2. Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultations with managers
3. Design and create training manuals, online learning modules, and course materials
4. Review training materials from a variety of sources and choose appropriate materials
5. Deliver training to employees using a variety of instructional techniques
6. Assist in the evaluation of training programs
7. Perform administrative tasks such as monitoring costs, scheduling classes, setting up systems and equipment, and coordinating enrollment
8. Assist management in planning for critical deadlines.
9. Coordinate and resolve system problems.
10. Create and maintain various system or PC reports to meet the needs of the company and or department.
11. Proctor/supervise training and classroom activities.
12. Perform any work that may be assigned by his or her supervisor.

1. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Good working knowledge and ability in the following:
The ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, by presenting ideas and giving instructions/guidance to subordinates, co-workers, and outside agencies in a manner that instructions are carried out and requested information is obtained. Job applicant must possess a high level of computer skills with programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, Convergence LMS. Ability to put together training plans, presentations, talking papers, etc.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Climate controlled office / classroom environment, but not limited to this environment.
SUPERVISION: Performs duty assignment at his or her discretion and is limited only by policies set by administrative or regulatory authority. Total end results determine the effectiveness of job performance.
INTERPERSONAL RELATIONS: A strong level of interpersonal skills is required to maintain an effective relationship among employees, various departments, management and the public.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT: Essential responsibilities are performed in a climate-controlled office, but not limited to the office. Must be able to cope with stress due to the pressures of accomplishing set goals, meeting short deadlines, maintaining numerous projects simultaneously, employee confrontations and long work hours.
