Essential Functions:
The program’s instructor works closely with the Upward Bound & Upward Bound Rural (UB/UBR) Project Directors to ensure success in meeting the program’s purpose and objectives by providing instruction and guidance to all students who enroll in such classes.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts with a major in English or related field preferred.
Previous teaching experience in high school or at a college level in appropriate discipline.
Ability to implement web-based technology applications into instruction.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate sensitivity towards the target area population and teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Education Degree Equals Bachelor's Details Equals Training in tutoring strategies and techniques for secondary populations is preferred. Previous experience teaching/tutoring/participating in a TRIO program.
