JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking to hire an experienced SAT/English Instructor to be responsible for conducting 1:1 or group tutoring sessions with our students who are preparing for the SAT. Our instructor must be able to teach students test-taking strategies and time management skills to maximize students’ performances on the SAT. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced educator to make a positive impact on students' learning goals. This is a Flexible, Part-Time opportunity.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor’s degree in English or any related field (required)
- Master's degree in English or related field from an accredited college or university (preferred)
- 1 year experience as an SAT instructor or tutor (required)
- Successful track record of developing student’s knowledge in SAT Test Prep (required)
- Professional communication skills (both spoken and written)
- Competent in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Able to work independently and collaborate with a team
- Enthusiastic about working with students and parents
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality
- Highly organized and detail-oriented (attention to detail and accuracy is imperative)

JOB DUTIES: - Collaborate with the Director of Curriculum Development to develop lesson plans and curricula as needed
- Deliver interactive and engaging SAT/English lessons
- Provide guidance and instruction on the content and format of the SAT.
- Administer practice tests and analyze results to identify areas of improvement
- Assess students' progress through regular evaluations, including tests, assignments, and participation, and provide constructive feedback to support their educational development.
- Provide homework help as needed
- Able to lead a classroom of students effectively and work efficiently with students
- Good classroom management skills
Typical hours:
- Must be flexible Monday - Friday from 2pm-8pm, Saturdays from 10am-4pm
