    Northwest University’s (NU) Center for English Language Education (CELE) is seeking adjunct ESL professors to teach 1-2 ESL classes for international students at our main campus in Kirkland, WA beginning in the Fall 2024 Semester (August 26th – December 13th). CELE is NU’s intensive English program that serves both degree and non-degree seeking ESL students wanting to improve their English skills.

    Instructors need to prepare and deliver lessons, utilize Moodle CMS, Microsoft 365, and textbook online platforms, give appropriate feedback, and submit grades in a timely matter. Teachers in our CELE program are expected to attend 1 CELE student event a semester and bi-monthly teacher meetings to the best of their abilities.
