Job Details:- Plan, coordinate, direct and supervise all aspects of the quality management systems and project specific quality control program requirements
- Effectively communicate and coordinate all quality control efforts with the project team
- Review project plans for quality requirements
- Plan and organize quality processes such as work planning, pre-activity meetings, material management, incident reports and corrective actions
- Direct inspections, testing and documentation
- Have working knowledge of owner contract, subcontracts and purchase orders
- Maintain relationships with owners, clients and subcontractors
- Provide mentorship and training to project team as it pertains to quality control
- Supervise project start up, project completion, punch list identification and entire close-out process
- Maintain appropriate documentation throughout the project including RFI logs and submittal logs
Qualifications:- 10-20 years’ experience with a federal general contracting company
- CQMC certified
- A thorough understanding of construction materials, means, methods and building systems
- Experience with concrete/steel cutting, erecting, and pouring projects
- Experience in federal sector projects
- Experience in healthcare projects
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office, Adobe and Bluebeam
- Ability to write and comprehend RFIs
- Ability to clearly communicate to home office, Owner, Subcontractors and experience running owner quality control meeting
- Ability to pass a background investigation and a drug test
- A desire to stay and grow with a company that will help mentor, train, and educate
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or an Engineering discipline
- Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs
- Knowledge of EM 385-1-1
- OSHA 30 Certified
- Experience working on projects $2-50MM
