Join Van-Am's dynamic team as a Safety, Environmental, and Security Specialist, where you will take on a range of essential duties and responsibilities. Your role will involve monitoring the workforce for safe behaviors, assisting managers with safety and environmental compliance, and creating engaging training aids such as presentations and posters using Microsoft Office applications. You will provide technical assistance to managers, maintain and revise safety manuals, and participate in various audits and assessments as a Corporate Safety liaison. Additionally, you will identify improvement opportunities and develop proficiency with electronic data systems.

To succeed in this position, you must possess at least a 2-year college degree or equivalent work experience, along with one to three years of experience in safety/environmental roles and training design/delivery. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and data analysis. OSHA 30 training is preferred.
