Instructor - Environmental Engineering teaches courses in the discipline area of environmental engineering. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Environmental Engineering provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Environmental Engineering typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Teach day, evening, and/or weekend teaching assignments which may include distance learning (Broadcast, Hybrid, Online, Zoom)
Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester
Participate in department, division or college-wide initiatives and committees if desired.

Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
Required Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must possess the minimum qualifications stated below:
Any associate degree and six years of full-time occupational experience in the related field OR
Any bachelors degree or higher and two years of full-time occupational experience in the related field

Range/Step: Range1/Step 1 - Range3/Step 7 (Depending on Education and Experience)
Salary Range: $53.28 - $88.75/Lecture Rate Per Hour
