Environmental Services, a Division of Superior Environmental Services is looking for a safety focused waste removal Warehouse Team Lead (Industrial/Environmental) to join our dynamic team at our Sidney, OH operation.

What you will be doing
Key responsibilities and functions may include, but are not limited to:

• Understands Customers (Honda, Mobis, VW, Special Customers) specific requirements.
• Knowledge of all production line requirements and goals (i.e., Disassembly, Warranty, Destroy, Metals, Plastic, etc.).
• Clear understanding of the operations of equipment (Balers, Forklifts, Compactor) and daily schedule of Incoming/Outgoing product .
• Maintains warehouse in an organized and clean manner.
• Support EHS compliance.
• Understand and support WMS reporting (billing, labor, inventory, equipment, etc.).
• Support continual improvement / operations efficiency.
• Manage direct reports:
  • Ensures staff adheres to all safety and PPE regulations.
  • Monitors breaktimes to ensure they are timely.
  • Ensures sure staff is properly trained on equipment before operating.
  • Trains and coaches staff to meet performance goals, documents performance challenges accordingly and addresses with Manager.
  • Assigns staff daily work to maximize personnel/production efficiency and ensure the appropriate staff count is maintained.
  • Plans and coordinates daily Team/Staff meetings.
• Inventory counts for crate & cage repair.
• Provide feedback to Division Support Representative.
• Ensures product is separated in accordance with customer specifications.
• Maintains open lines of communication with peers and upper management.
• Assists staff with any questions or concerns.

Performs other duties, as assigned.

What skills we are looking for:

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse environment
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment
• Team player

• Excellent organization skills to be able to complete various forms, records, and reports

Attention to detail is a must, as you will be inspecting products and keeping detailed records

Essential Functional Requirements:

• Must be able to work full time, extended shifts of up to 12 hours
• Exercise sound judgment, ensure integrity, and uphold the highest ethical standards to reinforce the importance of corporate compliance in all services provided and interactions.
• Must be able to work in a warehouse environment
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be safety conscious and have a good work ethic; must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment including, but not limited to, safety glasses, cut resistant gloves/sleeve, retractable box cutters, will provide along with the necessary training to maintain a safe work environment
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment, random, and or post-accident/injury substance abuse screening
