Instructor - Environmental Engineering jobs in Syracuse, NY
Instructor - Environmental Engineering teaches courses in the discipline area of environmental engineering. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Environmental Engineering provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Environmental Engineering typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Certified Environmental Services is looking for a full time Field Services Sampling Technician.
Responsibilities to include the set up of landfill, storm and discharge water sampling using sampling and flow monitoring equipment. Also sample pickups on an as needed basis.
Conduct on-site field testing & Transport sampling equipment to customer sites
Maintaining sampling equipment
Ensure the company is represented in a professional manner while at customer sites
Must be able to meet certain physical demands such as:
Consistent standing, walking, bending, crouching or stooping
Frequent lifting of equipment and coolers weighing up to 75 pounds
Climbing ladders and/or stairs
Must be willing to work outdoors in extreme heat, cold, etc.
Must have valid driver’s license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
