The UNC Asheville Department of Languages and Literatures - French invites applications for teaching introductory classes as an adjunct instructor. The cover letter should discuss relevant teaching and/or professional experience, the fields or courses in which the applicant has interest in teaching, and expertise and credentials which would qualify the applicant to teach in Department of Languages and Literatures - French. The Department values excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentorship. The ideal candidate will have native/near-native language skills, and experience in the language classroom particularly with beginners. The candidate should also be committed to the delivery of a curriculum that ensures diversity and inclusion.

Doctorate or Master's degree in French (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline). Exceptions may be granted for candidates with exceptional professional and/or teaching experience.
