LSU Health Baton Rouge of the LSU School of Medicine is seeking three physician(s), ABIM board eligible/certified (or equivalent) in Internal Medicine for faculty positions at the rank of Instructor (non-tenure, clinical track) to serve as Chief Resident(s).

Incumbents will support the LSU Health Baton Rouge Internal Medicine Residency Program and be expected to make significant contributions to the quality and reputation of the program. The selected candidates will also be fully integrated into the teaching service for both the residents and the medical students. In addition to teaching, incumbents will also assist in the administrative aspects of the program, resident and student evaluations, scheduling, morning report, resident logs and verifications, and serve as attending physicians for the LSU General Internal Medicine ward service and a LSU resident-directed Internal Medicine continuity of care clinic at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.

LSUHSC Internal Applicants – Open to graduates of the LSUHSC-BR Internal Medicine Residency Program only.

MD or equivalent

Completion of the LSUHSC-BR Internal Medicine Residency Program before hire
